Okay so I think I deserve a #transformationtuesday photo. It’s amazing what 2 1/2 years and 25 pounds can do for a person! So, where to start. When I was younger I was dancing about 5-6 hours a week, and I always have had a healthy diet. My strong dislike of mcdonalds and fast food started at an early age :P I had a really fast metabolism, so no I never gained any weight while other girls were starting to gain weight. This led to a lot of people thinking I was anorexic, which I never was and never will be, I was just a healthnut. This didn’t stop people from talking behind my back and making me incredibly insecure. Definitely not a fun time. When I eventually started doing less dance, accompanied with the fact that as you get older your metabolism slows, I started to gain weight. I’m now at a healthy weight where I have tons of energy and am a lot more confident. The reason why I am posting this photo is because I’m proud of my healthy lifestyle and that I do not live this way to fit into what teenage girls believe they should do or look like. I will never diet, I will never skip meals, I do not strive to be skinny, I strive to be healthy. There is nothing better you can do for your body than to eat well and exercise every day. By doing these things your body will be happy, you will be happy, and things will go your way naturally. So when you see me post pictures of me running, doing yoga or TRX, know that it is NOT because I want to lose weight, or look ‘hot’. It’s because I like the way it makes me feel, and I know I am doing what’s best for myself, not anyone else. It makes me happy, and that is what is most important to me. No diet pill or cleanse can ever give you that feeling! Anyways there is the most anyone has probably ever ‘heard’ me say, but it is something I’m really passionate about, and why I’m becoming a dietician when I’m older ☺️ bye!
